Let's Grow Together Contest
May 31st, 2025 to August 31st 2025
Small business sponsored veteran gardens event.
Let's Grow Together Contest provides garden plots for veteran therapy, education, and private comradery. Each garden plot comes with a garden quote sign which promotes participating small businesses with their logo and contact information.
Guests are encouraged to vote on their favorite garden. On August 31st the winner of (1) large, (1) medium, and (1) small will be announced on Facebook.
Donations and your purchase supports those with PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Garden sizes and cost: Small: $150.00 (10 available), Medium: $300.00 (6 available), Large: $500.00 (4 available).
Small Business Passport Poster
December 31st, 2025, posters on display for 7 months
Sponsored by Lithocrafters and Raven Wood Gardens.
The Small Business Passport Poster is an inexpensive marketing tool to advertise and support community wellness and Raven Wood Gardens. 200 posters are displayed in the following locations: Menominee, Stephenson, Marinette, Powers, Wallace, Peshtigo, Iron Mountain, Hermansville, Escanaba, Norway, Cedar River, Carney, Daggett, and Kingsford.
Cost: $75.00 - 7 months of advertising. Each business donates 2 gift items to be promoted as a give-a- way, and a final drawing is held for those who visit Raven Wood Gardens on Facebook!
Small Business Passport 2025
Contest Details:
1. VISIT any of these participating small businesses or events.
2. TAKE A PHOTO of yourself at the business or event.
3. POST your photo to the Small Business Passport Group 2025 on Facebook to be entered into drawings for items and services from participating businesses.
Caregiver Retreat

FREE to first 100 Veterans and official Veteran Caregivers
The Caregiver Retreat provides a space to relax and take care of yourself for the day. Filled with healing opportunities, vendors, crafting, a garden lunch, give-a-ways, music, and garden tours.
Ticket cost: $50.00 each
* If you are not be able to attend but you are welcome to sponsor a ticket for someone in need.

Founder Lou Anne will Kick off the retreat with a warm welcome and overview of the days activities.
10:15 AM - Yoga Class with Sally Van Eyck
Join Sally Van Eyck for a rejuvenating toga session designed to relax then energize.
10:45 am HALSA Chiropractic (Speaking)
11:00am REIKI
a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing through "laying on hands".It's based on the idea that a universal life force energy, called "Ki" in Japanese, flows through all living things and can be channeled to enhance well-being.
11:30 AM Quick Craft workshop
Unleash your creativity with a fun and interactive crafting session. Materials are provided and you can take your creations home!
12:00 pm Lunch in the Garden
Enjoy a delicious and nutritious Lunch in our serene garden setting. Please bring a lawn chair.
Carlos Cantina Lunch included at Caregivers Retreat for first 100 Veterans Caregivers.
Yooper Dogz Free food at The Safe Haven at the Raven Low-impact Fireworks Event. Guest attendance limited for 100 Veteran Guests.

Annual Almost Electric Solar Forest Event
Saturday, October 11th 2025 at Dusk

FREE to all Veterans and their Families, The Almost Electric Solar Forest Event provides a 30 - 40 Minute, lit up trail walk in the woods. Created to dispel darkness and provide a fun over fear evening for families. Business' that sponsor create a lit up, mindful, creative display area with solar lights for you to enjoy.
Ticket cost: $25.00 (For non-Veterans guests)
* Ticket includes glow sticks, flash light, and treats. Bring a canned good item to receive a discount of $5.00 off ticket price.
