Safe Haven at the Raven Saturday, July 6th, 2024
Many veterans who have PTSD or Anxiety, typically avoid many of the fourth of July festivities.
We can attest ourselves, as over the years this has been one of those holidays we typically opted out of due to the overwhelm of large crowds, BIG booms and flashes.
So Raven Wood Gardens came up with an alternative for a great VETERAN get together. This year we would like to make a difference for those who usually stay home.
The “Safe Haven at the Raven” Low Impact Fireworks Display is going to be held on Saturday, July 6th , 2024 from 7:00 until 11:00 PM.
This event will be held for veterans with PTSD/Anxiety who struggle with loud noises and crowds, who also may like our service dog friendly atmosphere.
We will have hotdogs, marshmallows, refreshments by the campfire, comraderey, low Impact fireworks and more surprises available for you to enjoy.
Raven Wood Gardens Inc. is now a nonprofit 501(c) 3 Organization. We welcome your donations and support. Although there is no cost to attend this particular event, we are asking those who can help others to consider bringing a small or large donation of non perishable food items.
We are collecting non perishable food items in addition to help support the local St. Vincent food pantry, where local veterans and others may visit to receive additional help if needed.
